About
Built for conservation work where law, science, and the field meet.
Undaunted Consultants partners with conservation organizations, wildlife health programs, public agencies, and cross-sector coalitions. We bring legal fluency, policy judgment, and grounded implementation support to work where ambiguity can slow protection.
Undaunted Consultants is led by founder Jacey Roche, DVM, JD, MPH; a conservation veterinarian, attorney, and scientist working at the intersection of biodiversity conservation, animal health, environmental law, and disaster response.
Jacey's training spans multiple fields that rarely sit at the same table. As a clinical veterinarian, she understands what wildlife health work actually requires in the field. As a trial attorney with policy experience across multiple levels of government, she has advised on land use, flood recovery, and public health, as well as has years of experience as complex civil litigator.
As a multidisciplinary scientist, she approaches conservation through a One Health lens, where the health of wildlife, people, and ecosystems is a single question rather than three. Recently, as a Fulbright Scholar in Australia, Jacey studied how biodiversity emergency management frameworks are built, and how the multidisciplinary stakeholders who must implement them are brought to the table.
Based on this research she continues to work on developing actionable frameworks, policies, communication strategies, and professional training programs that protect biodiversity, inspire One Health action, and strengthen response capability before, during, and after wildfires and other climate-change-enhanced disasters.
Outside of consulting, Jacey continues to work in small animal medicine as a relief ER veterinarian and she is also an avid wildlife and nature photographer. Her work lives at Undaunted Creatives.
